The Last Dragon is over 30 years old and is considered a cult classic. Taimak is a very driven and accomplished person. He studied Chinese Goju under "The Black Dragon", Ron Van Clief. He is an accomplished martial artist and has received black belts in Goju Ryu Karate, Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun, Hapkido, Jujutsu, Taekwondo & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His autobiography, "Taimak The Last Dragon" was published by Incorgnito Publishing Press. He has also been in several music videos including the lead male in Janet Jackson's "Let's Wait Awhile" and Debbie Allen's "Special Look". Taimak had the lead role of Leroy Green a.k.a Bruce Leroy, a martial artist in search of "The Glow" that only a true master can achieve. ![]() The film was a critical disappointment, but a financial success ($25 million box office). This was Taimak's first major break into acting. The Last Dragon (sometimes listed as Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon) is a 1985 martial arts film starring Taimak (pronounced TIE-MOCK) Guarriello.
